Friday, June 24th, 2016

Sarah will perform in November at the The Pulse of the City Soiree, which will benefit music therapy.

The Pulse of the City Soiree, presented by Republic Services, is the signature fundraising gala for Banner Children’s at Cardon Children’s Medical Center. This festive launch features an intimate concert with multiple Grammy and Juno award-winning artist, Sarah McLachlan, an incredible overall entertainment experience, a spectacular silent and live auction, superb food and beverages and premier networking opportunities – all in the spirit of supporting music therapy for our own Valley children.

Some Sarah McLachlan School of Music updates! From this article:

Four inner-city schools in Surrey will be home to Sarah McLachlan School of Music programs within the next three years.

Sarah McLachlan is scheduled to appear at the Surrey Arts Centre on Sept. 22 from 6-8:30 p.m. to announce the creation of the programs in the city.

Also, I completely forgot to post about Sarah’s performance with Whitehorse (Aug. 14, Interstellar Rodeo show) and that she, as Sinead O’Connor could not make it to the show, played a cover of “Nothing Compares 2 U”:
