Some quick but fun updates! Karine posted over at the forum a few highlights of Sarah’s Q&A on Twitter, which she did on March 2nd. There is some talk about a new holiday album..?..!

Q: @SarahMcLachlan what is your favorite scene in the #MonstersVideo?
A: Absolutely love the boat scene in the video! @emilywetta #MonstersVideo

Q: @SarahMcLachlan #MonstersVideo how long did it take you to do original drawing? Video is original &fresh! Love that creepy ending!!Xo
A: About 3 months! Andrew Struthers was the head animator & Crystal Heald did additional drawings πŸ™‚ @fumblerlisa #MonstersVideo

Q: @SarahMcLachlan LOVE the video! Where did the storybook inspiration come from? #MonstersVideo
A: The inspiration came from children’s storybook tales like The Cautionary Tales of Hans Christian Andersen. @laceface0 #MonstersVideo

Q: @SarahMcLachlan What is your favorite character? #MonstersVideo.
A: All three of them. They’re all the same character πŸ™‚ @cpafcpa #MonstersVideo

Q: Hi Sarah! You’re my fave singer ever. Can’t wait to see you on 3/9 for my bday in Lou,KY! What do your girls think of the vid?#MonstersVideo
A: They love it! It’s their favorite song on the album. @kbrbjb #MonstersVideo

Q: @SarahMcLachlan Hey Sarah! Love the #MonstersVideo! What made you go animated instead of a live action video?
A: Just felt it was the best way to tell the story πŸ™‚ Animation felt like the right way to go! @HReadDavis #MonstersVideo

Q: @SarahMcLachlan If you can say, who are the three heads of the three headed monster? #MonstersVideo
A: They shall remain anonymous & I’m sure they don’t know who they are. Don’t want to make their heads bigger #MonstersVideo

Q: @SarahMcLachlan Hi Sarah – was there a reason why you didn’t age the character and kept her a child? #MonstersVideo Ps. See you in NJ
A: She goes from a child to almost an adult & kind of back to a child again. She morphs in age & goes back to the innocence

Q: @SarahMcLachlan Would you consider another holiday album like Wintersong? It is one of my favorites.#MonstersVideo
A: Thank you! Yes, I am actually considering another #HolidayAlbum. Stay posted! #MonstersVideo

Q: @SarahMcLachlan Out of curiosity what are a cpl of the songs you no longer feel connected to? #MonstersVideo
A: Good one, “Push”, & most songs from my 1st record & some from my 2nd record. Doesn’t mean I don’t still love them.
