Who runs this site?
The site is/was created, being updated and maintained by me, Ellen Edens. I’m a dutch Sarah McLachlan fan for quite a while now. I did alot of Sarah research on the www and stumbled across so many little fanpages that were created around Sarah’s Surfacing era, with alot of info. A great part of these sites are not known and never updated again. I wanted to create one site which would contain the information I’ve collected from those Sarah sites and make it one big Sarah archive.
Solaced.info was first Solaced.nl, but I was having so much troubles with that domain name (and hosting stuff, it’s a long story…) I decided to register the .info so it’d be a fresh start.
Solaced.info started officialy in July 2009, but I’m counting its “life” from the moment Solaced.nl started which is 03 June 2006.

This site wouldn’t be running and updated at all without the members of the now defunct SarahBoards.com. I want to say a special thank-you to the boardmembers Miguel, uberbelly, Jessel and K. They offered me alot of rare material, bootlegs, pictures and information about shows/media perfomances. For a new forum you can join a forum hosted by Solaced, the Sarah McLachlan Fan Forum.
Solaced.info is based on WordPress, which includes also the big database behind the site. The layout is from Wordpress.org, but I changed it to some Sarah love-layout - and see the result.
Solaced is hosted by Flexwebhosting (a dutch company).
