Vancouver’s Gladstone Secondary School. MusiCan is a charity that is helping keep music alive in schools across Canada through musical instrument grants, scholarships and other music initiatives.
UNICEF Aids Benefits : Concert
February 28th 2008
One Night Live, in Toronto. Also : Jane Arden, Bryan Adams, Josh Groban, RyanDan. They raised $12 million for the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, a world leading hospital in perinatology and gynecology.
The True Colors concert
July 2008
Vancouver. An auction in december 2008 featured items from Sarah McLachlan. Also : Cindy Lauper, Rosie O’Donnell. True Colors Concerts is a music touring company that is the brainchild of Cyndi Lauper and was established as a vehicle for her to empower the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community to reengage and take part in the struggle for full equality. In 2008, True Colors expanded to 24 cities and included a wider group of talent including Cyndi Lauper, The B-52s, Sarah McLachlan, Indigo Girls, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Joan Armatrading, Tegan and Sara, Regina Spektor and Carson Kressley.

Neil Young’s 22nd Annual Bridge School Benefit, Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View. Proceeds benefit The Bridge School.
