Canada Dry partners with Sarah McLachlan to launch new improved Canada Dry Diet and to support music education in Canada

Beginning today, two Canadian icons, Canada Dry and Sarah McLachlan, are partnering to re-launch the new and improved Diet Canada Dry. To kick start the partnership, Canada Dry has launched a donation-matching program with proceeds benefiting the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, a music program offered at no cost to under-served youth in Vancouver.

“Diet Canada Dry was recently reformulated to meet consumers’ desire for a new, improved taste. We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring the reformulation message to consumers through this genuine partnership with Sarah McLachlan and supporting her work through her School of Music,” said Carol-Anne Gower, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development, Canada Dry Mott’s. “This partnership givesCanadians a chance to help Canada Dry support music education in Canada. Canadians can make donations to the Sarah McLachlan School of Music by visiting www.canadadry.ca. Canada Dry will be matching all donations made by consumers up to $30,000.”

“When I was growing up, it was a given that we had music in our schools. These days many of these programs are not available and private lessons can be cost-prohibitive to most families,” said Sarah McLachlan. “With the support of Canada Dry, my dream of providing free music education will continue to become a reality for young musicians”

The partnership between Canada Dry and Sarah McLachlan also includes a print media campaign and contest. The contest kicks-off on May 1 giving Canadians the opportunity to enter a PIN from select Canada Dry products for a chance to win a VIP concert experience with Sarah McLachlan and other prizes. Consumers can visit the Canada Dry Facebook page at facebook.com/CanadaDryCanada or CanadaDry.ca for more information.
