You beat me to it. I hope the billboard chart is the same thing. For week ending June 21st LOI is number 3 on ITunes.

Sarah debuts at #3 just over 90,000 units sold. Far less than her previous studio album AFTERGLOW that debuted at #2 with over 350,000 BUT this was 7 years ago before the internet downloading became what it is today and it was also NOV the PEAK buying season of the year because of thanksgiving and christmas shopping. Also FALLEN was a moderate hit on U.S radio at the time but LOVING YOU IS EASY is barely charting. Well done SARAH![/quote]
To fall so deep into you
Lose myself completely
In your sweet embrace
All my pains erased

And your mouth is all that I wish
Mercy of your lips
Just one kiss
Until I can breathe again
Until I can sing again

‘Cause I'm a trainwreck
Waiting to happen
Waiting for someone to come
Pick me up off the tracks
The wildfire born of frustration
Born of the one love that gets me so high
I've no fear at all

I didn't know HDD were independent from Billboard, but I'm glad they both showed the same info (it's predicted Billboard will show the same result tomorrow), Sarah peaked at #3 with this album so I'm happy

According to the Dutch charts, which supplies info from other countries as well, Sarah landed at #9 in New Zealand and #49 in Switzerland

Agreed. Not to mention that the first single didn't do well and she hasn't promoted the album heavily. I am really happy for her that she debuted at number 3!

She debuted at #2 in Canada. She sold 22,000 copies compared to Drake's 31,000. http://www.ctv.ca/CTVNews/Entertainment ... rt-100623/

This record will sell millions.
Sarah is legendary in the same way
Jeff Buckley or Radiohead are legendary
Not everyone loves Sarah cos it's serious
music made for people who are serious
about music.

Agreed.
And Jeff Buckley is amazing. He's the male Sarah. Both of them have the same haunting voice and a certain je ne sais quoi which makes their music highly irresistible. :D

It will be intresting to see how LOI did in the UK when data is released later today. I was in HMV the other day and it took me a while to find the CD in the new releases because it was burried at the bottom of the display below the new CDs by Eminem and Miley Cyrus, which of course were at eye level and therefore more likely to be noticed by shoppers. Also LOI was not available in ethier of the supermarkets I went into, not getting your CD in a supermarket is bad business here because its were most people do thier CD shopping these days. The Album did seem to be doing okay on itunes and amazon though so hopefully its boosted the album up the charts! :D
