Top 10! thats so exciting. for some reason i thought that it really wasn't getting that much press and maybe wouldn't do that well, but i'm so glad that it is. I hope Sarah is ecstatic!

It is exciting and sad at the same time. She got to #2 for the last two albums here.
It's like "ok Afterglow WAS a big deal" because she had been gone for 3 years after Lilith, but this time she did take the same amount of time off without doing anything big post-Afterglow. She is bringing back Lilith but I guess that wasn't enough to put her at least in #3 or 4

I also forgot that this is a repeat of Wintersong -- that one reached #7 at its highest.

I went to Hits Daily Double and they are not even half-way done and Sarah has sold only 11,968 copies so far. Miguel where did you see it #7 on Billboard?
To fall so deep into you
Lose myself completely
In your sweet embrace
All my pains erased

And your mouth is all that I wish
Mercy of your lips
Just one kiss
Until I can breathe again
Until I can sing again

‘Cause I'm a trainwreck
Waiting to happen
Waiting for someone to come
Pick me up off the tracks
The wildfire born of frustration
Born of the one love that gets me so high
I've no fear at all

Well it looks like the album is doing well based on all the info posted here. I have a strong feeling that LYIE is going to be big in a few more months. That poppy, upbeat track has 'hit' written all over it.

I'm happy LOI is going well on charts and I hope it gets better although I think that being on these charts doesn't mean quality (I think all of us have some 'bad examples').
Regarding physical copies, I'm a little old-fashioned here, I really love to buy CDs and have my hands in the booklets, listen to them in my sound system.... :P

I think Loving You Is Easy will do very well, considering that its Summer in North America right now and its
a very 'Summer' type song. I remember when Len released "Steal My Sunshine" here in Australia during the summer
it went ballistic on the charts cos it was the perfect summer song

Your point is well made and very true. Summer songs open us up to happiness and a good way for our senses. We seem to be alive and smiling and all those nice things that would be associated with just that. However, all that is usually short -lived when we come back down and realize that the days are as they should be, just another one to get by. So, Sarah's CD hopefully will do well but if it was not a big push at the beginning, then I wonder. We have to consider that there seems to be problems with ticket sales too and that contributes with album sales. I want her to have a huge Fair, I do, but I cannot help to be a little reserved with my wanting.

Good news
http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/sales/salescht.cgi

Sarah debuts at #3 just over 90,000 units sold. Far less than her previous studio album AFTERGLOW that debuted at #2 with over 350,000 BUT this was 7 years ago before the internet downloading became what it is today and it was also NOV the PEAK buying season of the year because of thanksgiving and christmas shopping. Also FALLEN was a moderate hit on U.S radio at the time but LOVING YOU IS EASY is barely charting. Well done SARAH!
