At last, I just finished reading the final chapters of Patti LuPone's funny and at times acerbic memoir. :D

Reading (for the 2nd time) Robert Harris' Conspirata...
One little leaf adrift in the breeze, refuses to fall from the sky
Blown by the wind it clings to the tree, unwilling to wither and die...

I borrowed "Une page d'amour", by Emile Zola. I began to read and after 50 pages, I realised that I read this book 2-3 years ago and just forgot about it! It happened to me a few times! :D

Congratulations to the first Canadian who won the Nobel Prize for literature! :D
Alice Munro is the first short-story writer to receive that famous prize.

(and now I have to add her name on my list of "to read" books!)
