I saw this JG CD on sale last week in out local supermarket, along with the SMcL duet. I didn't realise it was a Snow Patrol cover. I must admit I'm not a big fan of Josh, don't get me wrong he's good, but when Sarah joined in it did lift the song, and it highlighted for me, just how good Sarah's voice still is.
Don't think I'll buy the album though, not for one song anyway.

That's really cool! It has a retro, sort of Sixties discotheque look to it, although the sound seems more Grunge-like. It's very good. Miss Pepsi-can pants looks great in it! Hard to imagine her as a session musician, not singing, but it's all good!

For me it seemed like she was sort of subsumed under Josh's vocals. I loved the way she harmonized with Diana Krall on If You Could Read My Mind, and I wish she would do more collaborations like that. A "confluence of Canadians", as Ellen so aptly put it.

The album this is on is Wallflower, and it is a wonderful collection of favorites where Diana also sings with Bryan Adams. Definitely worth getting, not just to hear Sarah. I bought it. Check it out.
